Default Cosworth Insurance.

Hi, my renewal is up in mid January for my 3 Dr Cosworth, i virtually don't use it at all & currently have it insured via the RS Owners Club/Dominion Plan etc on a 3000mile a year policy, fully comp, paying £254 a year.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for decent, not just cheap companys who may go even lower but provide as good a service, in particular in regard to valuations etc in case the worst does happen.

Cheers.

Virgin are pretty good.
The other ones that I've heard do godd policies for classic / show cars are Sureterm direct 0845 2020230 www.sureterm.co.uk

Heritage 0845 811 8118 www.heritage-quote.co.uk

Lynbrook also do a policy that allows you to buy backthe car if written off, insurance includes spare parts, and etra payment to allow you to find another if the car is written off, allows you also to self repair. Tel 0845 1304662

cheers

Im with boncaster, and dont understand them? Dont get me wrong, they've been spot on with service and what not but I oridinally had the sapph on the insurance at around £900 (claim against me!!) no limit to milage ect... but then asked them to place a series 1 on the same policy and it drops to £650. Cracking and wouldnt change

I’m with Heritage and made a claim on my old Saff last year. The accident wasn’t my fault but the Heritage team did all the chasing and was very good I even used the repairer of my choice with no argument and they were very expensive but I wanted the best

Mine is £699 fully comp 5000 miles p.a & i'm 35 ! Seems it costs a lot more when you start upping the power, mines stage 3 with T34 etc. All mods declared, funny thing is i just had a quote from my other insurers that insure my Volvo 850R & that was for a Mitsi EVO6 £695 fully comp with no security required ,thought that was cheap for a evo6.

Simon.
