lmao well when you get off the train and if its raining the scrapyard nearby looks really pretty

 

nowt bad bout ponty, plenty of good pubs but clubs are limited to 2 bigfellas and kikos (like a youth club) both bit crap but pubs are spot on. its not rough people are ok there i live only 5 mins away (when i put me foot down)

 

If we boot it we can get there in less than five but that was in the mr2.

Cant believe you mentioned big fellas and not silks, many a fine woman to be found up there! To be honest mate dont go to any of the clubs looking for anything spectacular. Kikos is staright out of the question if your 15 or older. Big Fellas is okay if you drop on the right night which seems to change every week so cant really advise.The place itself is a shit hole. Floors as sticky as hell and always broken glass everywhere. Good fights used to be frequent but havent seen one for a while. Bogs are always piss wet through which is always nice. As above though pubs are spot on, good atmosphere in most of them. Most Ponte and Cas people are friendly enough, those that arent are easy to spot. Whichever train station you get off at your only 5mins walk to bus station/taxi rank that will get you down to your hotel. I live about 2mins from baghill train station at moment so any directions or owt mate give us a nod.

get the bus into wakefield and do the westgate run
its the main road down and out of wakfield with alot of pubs/clubs on either side

 

sound advice peter, Wakefield many many times better than pontefract, differernt league to be honest. Just not much fun on your own I wouldnt have thought though?
Im living in Pontefract at moment mate in sunny baghill, estate of the stars!!! Car lives elsewhere though

I.m from Barnsley, i been to Ponty Cruz a couple of times last summer but i can't vouch for the pubs etc, pity yer not training in Barnsley it's full of pubs in town centre.
