That one that had the 18in Kahn 5 spokes in Red that sold a few months ago on here, that was the nicest one I have ever seen, Think it went for between 4-5 grand as well
As Porkie said above , I think he wanted a known top end RS Turbo, not some divvies of the Trader, I was looking on there the other day at RST`s and there is some bags of shite on there at the minute, buy of here

Then surely the 2nd to top answer would of been to look in the "Cars For Sale" section, would it not ? Or, the back of Fast Ford / Performance Ford, followed by Rallye News ?

SOOOOO why didn't you do that??? They are really helpful suggestions instead you sent some NEW member off to the Autotrader where he could buy a right shed and as Mr Brannen says they are ALOT about!

Just admit it... you were being a bit of a knob!

If you want to buy a shed, I've got a mercury grey one sat waiting for an engine and a respray in red? perfect

Tell you what's even better than a red S2 is Ballins red Fiesta RS Turbo 2.1 ZVH antilag, something managed [] monster, within your brothers budget Really is awesome too

A friend of mine is selling a MINTY MINT MINT S2 with fook all miles for £5k i think. The think is stupidly clean (clean as in you can rub your hand in the wheel arches and no dirt will appear on your hands!!!). The car is completely 100% standard with full service history.

He doesnt come online so he doesnt come on here but can pm you his number if you wish!

I think he meant more like a cossie is further up the ladder than an RST, and RST`s better looking than saffs, ya reckon?

cfoster, I think he's looking at more working class and modified. Somewhere around 200bhp. Sounds ace though.

Cheers

If you REALLY can't see why you are being a KNOB then I will spell it out

He has taken the time to log onto a site called PASSIONFORD. This is because he is interesed in buying a Ford car and he presumes that he is going to get some helpful advice on buying what is an old car now and one that could be a real money pit. He is probably also thinking that some people on here could point him in the direction of a car that they know well, is modified properly or has a sound history.

You are normally a reasonable guy... why are you being a tosser??

You gave a pony and crap answer to a Newbie, when we should all be welcoming them and trying to help a fellow car enthusiast!!!!

Just admit you were wrong and we can both stop boring people!

I give shite answers sometimes if I am in a bad mood or something has wound me up but I'm big enough to admit when I am wrong!

Oh dear... I'm with Lee on this one. The guy WANTS a nice S2!

He's is also willing to PAY for it - ie get a good one - hence asking advise for one - most people want to spend 1500 and end up witha shitter! I would NOT buy a saph for 4k - id want one that matched the condition of my won car - and i realise u have to pay for that!

He is right mate, most people on here are good lads n lasses, and wouldnt dare sell you a banger, simply because they know you would come on here and dirty there name for all us to see
Seriously if you look in the for sale section if someone is selling a car that aint A1 then they will say so in the ad , and it will be priced accordingly, look for ya self, it aint like the trader where every car is"mint", honestly ya much safer buying of here
