Watching TV on your computer ~ What do i need
I have an 8 month old very powerful Dell computer with a 15" LCD screen.
I would like to hook it up so we can watch TV through the computer.
Can this easily be done? What do i need and how much is it likely to cost? Can i just pick up an add on part from PC World?
Thanks

not sure if that is for normal TV or just digital TV like Sky etc. probably best to ask the question to someone who knows what there on about LOL!
the one I bought ages ago plugged into the PCIA slot in the machine and then I plugged the ariel into the card and away I went. These USB things look simpler to install assuming you have a spare USB point to use that is.
I would assume that these widgets have their own internal ariels hence no need for an external input however not sure what would happen if you didn't have a strong enough picture via that route???
Ring up a Maplins there usually quite good on this stuff
well better than your average PC World sales executive
