a friend of mine has asked me to do a cam kit and valve guides for him on his 1.8ZVH escort cab, was just wondering, is the piper 285 still ok for this egine and also what head gasket is it likey to use, I assume its the zetec one due to the bore size but will it be a special one? i.e. thicker or anything also what kind of tourque settings? zetec or cvh? Thanks in advance, any other zvh info and tuning ino would be handy, I know my way round with a spanner but never been involved with zvh before.

 

put a kent 34 in it

 

use a multishim gasket im not shure if you can get away with the 2.0 focus rs one for Ł26 from ford!

dont forget u need slightly longer head bolts for zvh i think burtons sell them

and i think someone sells propper zvh cams now but i dont know who because i just overheard my tuner talking to another customer about it
