As said be careful - even if you do trust the company trying to sell it, ask for some proof of insurance as things could get awkward if the car went 'missing'

my mate bought a supra from a garage in swansea, kept it for a few months and then got bored and stuck it in the autotrader. after 2 weeks of just messers he got a call from the same garage saying they had seen the car for sale and reckoned they could sell it for him very quickly if he let them have it on the forecourt. so my mate thought no probs , drove it down there and left all the papers etc. they said they would ring when all funds had cleared etc. they also agreed to pay the price he wanted for it.after a month and no sales according to the garage my mate rung and said he was coming to take it back and trade it in . after tons of bu**shi* and 2 days on the phone they then told him it sold the second week. but they were having money problems and had had 2 spend his £12,000 in the business. dont get me wrong it werent a small garage. it had 40 motors out the front .it took him just under 6 months to get all the money in drips and drabs. we did get cars for him to use out of them like a skyline and a gt 3000 and they would pay some money off and give him a cheaper car but i doubt they even owned them either. just a true tale to show what can happen.

if i can remember the name of the garage i will put it up later !!

I did this with my last car and didn't have any probs at all. The deal went smoothly and I got the price I wanted.

I told the garage the minimum price I would accept and anything over that, was his profit.

which obviously is a good thing for word of mouth

As Budweis really tiff.

Portway is fuckin huge- If you get off the M42 at Junction 3 and head towards redditch on the dual carriegway less than a mile on your right.

You couldn't miss it if your head was in the clouds.

Go past it and go up the slip road that says portway on it come back over the dual track and back down along past a couple of breakers yards and just park out side and have a nosey round.
