XP 'All Programs' from Start button.....How to tidy up???
I did this years ago when XP first came out, but cant remember now how to do it.
When i open the 'All Programs' from the start button it fills half the page as there are so many.
I'd like to re organise them, creating folders to put like software into.
e.g. All the games link in Games folder, graphics stuff in graphics folder etc etc.
So when i open it i get less info with more options.
Hope that makes sense, I seem to remember it wasn't difficult, just want to know im doing it right rather than end up moving something that shouldn't be moved...

I'd check from here, but don't have access to an XP machine...
I don't use Windows at all, in work, and my machine at home is Windows 2000 Pro. If it's similar to that, however, you right-click on the task-bar, go to Properties, onto the Start Menu tab, and click on the "Advanced..." button to go into a File Manager style interface, in which you can re-arrange your Start Menu as if it was a normal Windows folder...

All sorted now...
On XP you go into Documents and settings\administrator or user whichever you have set up.
Then goto Start Menu and they are all in there.
You can then just create some new folders and drag and drop the programs into them.
Ive just put this here just in case its any use to anyone else.
