To stop the alarm going off u really need the key for the door lock, after re-connecting the battery, u need to shut the drivers door, lock it then un-lock it, this will stop the alarm from sounding every time u switch the ignition on. If you also find the fob u need the key to re-syncronize it to the system.

you need the key acces code and working locks and youll be in you need to disarm it via the drivers door so unseeze the drivers lock what reg is it?

yes you should be fine jake that reg rover is door lock activated my sisters bf works for rover so i asked him for you aslong as you get the door card off and then get someone to pop the battery on while you lock and unlock it

arnt rover alrams systems in the ecus

im sure they cut the injector rail

just had the same problem with my mates even though he has a toad on it

luckily he had the fob which di activated it

always thought you need the fob tbh to de activate the alarm

the early ones dont have a fob they are key activated like a ford
