Default Breaking cossie track car - more added! Fluids, spares etc

Right, here it is.

Breaking my track saff cossie, so absolutely everything has got to go.

Prices on some things may at first appear high, but nearly everything is brand new and has never been used. If you have any comments on prices but no interest in purchasing, then keep them to yourself, as I'm not interested and they will be deleted.

The spec of this car, as anyone who has read my restoration post will know, is very high for a 330bhp engine. Everything is uprated, or simply the best available as found on much more powerful cars.

I wont be posting any of the heavier stuff, as I simply don't have the time, but may be able to send some of the lighter stuff. If anyone wants to pay by paypal, that's fine, but I will be charging the extra percentage, as I don't see why I should lose out. Otherwise, it's payment by the usual means.

The shell will be for sale too, but is obviously going to be dependant on the sale of other parts first. Best to call to discuss that one.

It's going to be first come, first served on everything. I will describe parts as accurately as possible, as I want everything to go to a good home. Remember, I am breaking this car not because I want to, but because I have to. Deposits may be required on the much larger, much more expensive items in order to hold them for any length of time.

I have pics of pretty much everything, so just ask if you want a specific pic, otherwise they're all in the restoration post, accessible by clicking the link in my sig.

So... let's begin!

Full Ford motorsport prepped and strengthened shell, with integral multi-point roll cage through to strut tops.
Rear bulkhead modification, and double skinned footwells as per Group A build.
Group A chassis mounted engine mounts.
Rear laded ARB mounts.
ATL fuel cell in custom tank with aero filler on n/s wing.
Hydraulic handbrake mechanism.
Underside full cleaned, and waxoyled.
Transmission tunnel full heat-proofed and shielded.
Front and rear bumpers, 4 doors in white, 4x4 bonnet, bootlid, morettes.
Late spec dash, trimmed to fit around roll cage

Most can be seen from the pics, but this will make a superb track day car for someone.

Faults:

Both front and rear wings showing small touches of rust and wear.
N/S rear wing show very slight accident damage – dent in corner of wing.
Spare wheel well is very rusty, and will require attention.
Roof has cut outs for Group A vents, but comes without the vents.

However, this is a former rally car, so don’t expect it to be mint. As mentioned earlier, sale will have to wait until most parts are sold, and as such, it will not be a rolling shell. However, there is the possibility of making it rolling, although I will not have a set of wheels to use.

£1500 SOLD

That should be most of the bits. If you want to speak to me on the phone re: any of the bits, then PM me, and I'll return your message with my number. Otherwise, PM or reply here with your interest. I am open to slight offers on some stuff, but don't take the piss. I also still have reciepts for some stuff, which I will be happy to copy or supply. I'm sure there will be more stuff added as I find it strewn around the house and in the garages etc, so I will add it as I find it, although this is most of the stuff as it stands.

End of an era, but all parts to good homes please people

Right, here's how it is.

My PM box has gone mental over the last few mins, so:

Unless someone specifically asks me to hold something or buys it, then I'm going to have to sell to someone else if they're there with the cash.

I want to move this car fairly quickly, so I'll only hold something if asked exactly that.

You have been warned, so please don't get annoyed if something you wanted gets sold out from under your nose because you weren't quick enough. Will edit the ad accordingly as offers come in.

ZOO Motorsport 10.5" diff - Jag rear beam setup. This is a ZOO Motorsport rose jointed rear beam, with 10.5" TWR Jag diff in 3.77 ratio. Comes complete with 10.5" diff, rose jointed rear beam, standard 2wd rear ARB, custom propshaft to fit 2wd T5 gearbox, and rear hubs. Brand new, and never used, this is nearly the exact same spec as the rear end on Rod Tarry's 200mph Saff Cossie. £1750

Does this also include driveshafts? And is it a plated 10.5 diff?

Manet - yes, that includes uprated driveshafts. Will add pics to everything when I get a chance.

For anyone that's PMing me regarding location:

I'm in NW7 London, not far off J23 of the M25 and close to the A1 and M1

My mobile number if anyone needs to contact me is 07887 882 494. If I don't answer, it's only because I'm not able to, but keep trying.

Well i am very interested in the rear assembly, but there is a problem, since I'm in Sweden and would need transport thru DHL or similar. Sending thru DHL means that you probably would have to go to one of there "offices" to send it. And from your first post I understand that you aren't very "keen" on that?

Kind regards Andreas

Andreas,

Not particularly keep on sending, as I simply don't have the time.

Unfortunately the rear beam setup is VERY heavy, so postage would be very expensive!

Yes, but stuffin it on a crate( not sure it's called that), would be a little over 100£ maybe. Hmm, thats what I paid for a T5 Glebe box, but your right, this would be heavier.

Well, if it doesnt get sold in the immediate future, maybe we could work something out.

Cheers.

Tony,

FIA date on the harnesses reads 2008.

The lifeline extinguisher is also date stamped 1997, and the needle still shows it being charged. It would appear to read as being 2.25 litre, but the writing is faded.
