Is it me, or is the supercharger running off the Alternator belt?

Always thought superchargers needed a thicker, stronger, belt than that.

i can see the turbo, the charger, the alt adn the pipes,,,,,,,, where the engine

are they a different design to a convetional straight 4 then

sory dont know but about scoobys so thought i would learn and im sure others are thinking the same ( i might me kiding my self though )


me mates just got a 2 door scooby sti i think its called, looks alittle like a p1 but the front splitter is different ( and other things but i cant remember now), they are cool looking AND sounding cars though

and that kit would be alittle mental too

No massive benefit really, lower centre of gravity and so on.

 

the Subaru noise is mainly down to the un-equal manifolds,



and that my friend is a flat-4,mind you its a bastard to change the plugs

see the strut brace on it I had the chance to have the same as that in work but the salvage people turn up just as was going to take it off

 

the famous misfiring sound that subarus make will dissapear near anuf if u put equal lenght headers on (equal length exhaust manifolds)

 

At which point I'd sell my scooby

 

The only thing that sets it apart from other cars you always know when a subarus coming down the road sounds nice

 

they are piss easy to work on aswell easier than cossies

The twin turbo set up is quite smart!

That would stop it from sounding like a 4 pot with a plug lead off...
