Knowing the ring, it was probably the same cost to fix the car as it was to pay for the barriers and be carried off!
Ouch
Fair play though, he was obviously properly going!

When we went to the ring last year ,we were advised the armco barrier was £2500 to fix ,thats each section about a 20ft long so if you took out 2 pieces by accident, well youre gonna get shafted one way or another

wildly wrong

each section is 200 Euro's - trust me, i have experience

a section is just a length of the single plank though, so in that picture there are 3 of those. and if they have to do any posts it gets more experience.

Bongard to the rescue!

It looks like Eschbach coming into Brunnchen, but I'm not 100% sure you'd normally see it from the other direction.

Apparently, the driver was the bloke in the green top, and was heard to say
"I dont know what happened, my vision must have gone....all i can remember was seeing red and white....."

Judging from these pics. Flint Grey Saffs have some attraction to armco in Germany!

I thought it was 2500 euros to?? If it is and I had known that when I had my armco moment I probably wouldn't have legged it as fast as I could
