Where did you learn to Spray??
I dont really think its something that can be taught, you just pic it up as you go along, ive been painting for nearly 10 years know and iam still finding out better ways to do it.
Biggest tip i would offer though, is you can never rush paint work and you need the patince of a saint

I spent my childhhod watching my dad spray cars and just cpied what he did and picked up tips from friends in bodyshops over the years. Remember spray painting relieson good prep work if your preping is crap then you'll never get a good finish with the paint.
Also take your time never rush the job, i'm no expert so i'll probably get shot down here but also a tip i've found to be good is aways make sure your paint is warm. I usually stick my spray cans in a bucket of hot water.
I've recently bought a compressor and spraygun so i'm yet to try it out but i intend on practicing on some sheet of card to get the spray pattern right.

Spraying is not somthing you can buy a book on then know how to do. Just takes time and expirience. And it's right about the patience....
Buy yourself a gun, and a panel, and some paint, and just keep at it till your happy with it. Practise makes perfect.
It's all about your preparation, the more time you spend preparing your panel/car/whatever, the better your finish will be.
And don't give up when you make a balls of it. Cos, you will make a balls of it

No patchy silvers and flicks in well easy.
I used water for a year and then had to work with solvent base coat for 6 months and couldn't get used to it again.

How does it differ to 2pak?
IMO it is 10 times better/easier to use and isn't as toxic as solvent based basecoat
