Is that your m8s truck in the picture? If it is then it's not a Lighting, that's an F-150 Harley Davidson edition, the Lighting was never offered in Supercrew (4drs). The Harley has the same drivetrain, just not as fast.

I sort of and sort of didnt! I put a deposit on a 2001 lightning in feb 2005 but due to expanding business/new venture i opted out! Got my deposit back and only lost out on an inspection report i had done on it (only $80 so was lucky!).

Ill defo be getting one soon though, the value of them are peanuts over there in comparison to here so deffo worth importing one!

Hi mate I've got one, had it over a year now, Know them very well and we've been doing alot of work on them, We offer anything from lowering to a 750rwhp engine build, even factory parts we can supply so any issue with it dont hesitate to call us for advise. Look in Performance ford mag for more info on mine, recently ran 155.5mph in the rain at brunters in mine on PF's Timing gear, 160+mph is the aim for the coming months.

wot power u running when i bought mine he said this and that and its ment to be 500bhp hence my reg plate w500bhp but i no its now that yet its on the rollers end off month so we will see...

If Im not mistaken Dannys truk runs around 500bhp.

mine is around 430 at the wheels so just over 500hp, this is guess though as we never done a power run,it will be going for a power run soon and we will then fine tune the map along with a little more boost.

main advise I'll give you is to check all the plugs for the grade and tightness.

Dannys truck certainly does the biz at 2 and a half tonnes......!

Plus he knows how to drive it properly which makes all the difference..
