Hi guys, im just waiting for a new metering unit, and i tried removing my old one, now when i took the pipe off the fuel filter off - petrol was pissing everywhere !

how do i stop it so i can take my old unit out and give it a good hiding ?

That is the pressure that is meant to be in the system.

unplug the fuel pump, crank the engine over a few times and their should be no pressure. voila

Do it when car is cold. less chance of a fire! Just put a cloth over the filter when u crack the bolts undone.
