Escort TDi Ghia x? well, most of it is!
Hi
I have purchased the above car and I'm reasonably happy with it, but am confused about whether it has had the front end replaced. I say this because the rear number plate has a chrome surround, but the front grill doesn't, also after I purchased it, I noticed the front end and bonnet had absolutely no stone chips or marks of any kind. Under the bonnet it was extremely clean, but then the whole car was immaculately valeted, engine as well. If it is a replacement front, then the colour match is perfect (a 'limited edition' grey with a purple tint)
Does anyone know how I can find out whether it's had a new front?
If so, is it unsaleable? (Should have kept my Volvo!)

Unless it's showing up on a register as accident repaired, can't say it really matters IF the paintwork is as good as you say
There's not many cars of that age that haven't been painted at some point and if they haven't they normally need it
