shouldn't make any difference what your running i would have though, mines all newish standord stuff, only real difference i've noticed is i cant light up the wheels in first any more which is great for those hard launches off the lights.

Andysrs:
That's a Wiechers strut brace available in aluminum and red steel.
I think the steel one was around 60e only. Here's a picture of my previous car's engine bay:

OMP as seen here. Available for around £60 from most motor-spares places: motorworld, halfrauds, etc.

Not keen on the 'full' strut-top covering types so went for the 'open' type.

Not sure if I'm gonna fit it to the S1 tho as the strut tops are very good and don't know if I want to drill them to fit it.

Think I'd like to keep under there as standard as poss: metal-wise
That's why I went for a 4x4 Cossie cooler with custom made rad underneath so I don't have to cut the slam panel or the front panel to fit them.
But also think it would look good once it was painted up to match other bits & bobs in my engine bay.

about e-mailing them with an order:
service@wiechers-sport.de
Since the prices are on their website,
http://www.wiechers-sport.de/ (click on "domstreben" )
, I'd think the will supply you directly.

I bought mine with a group buy we organized within our club. We also ordered directly from Wiechers.

The one i have also acts as an engine brace which bolts onto the side of the head to reduce engine movement, its on a rubber bush at the strut bruce to reduce vibration

The brace is made from stainless steel to stop it from bending as its getting pulled on all the time, a worthwhile mod that really does make a difference
