This weekend I and my band recorded 6 tracks from our creation, and I wanted to make you hear the result

Here is one of the songs

I'm the lead guitarist, and I'm also doing one part of the vocals, the "highest" voice is mine while the lowest one is the usual singer's one.

if your brother wants to see if i'm any good technically, i advise him to test one of those exercises i created myself for my "students" when i used to give guitar lessons, to make a little money when i was younger.

best band to come from france! it kind of sounds like early amorphis! i used to play in a death metal band myself (guitar) many years ago.

LOL! I dunno what he will say to that!!

 

tell him it's quite difficult, (i intentionnaly chose one of my hardest exercise of course ROFL ) but this gives him an idea of what I can do on a 6 (or 7) string

 

And to finish, another song played by myself, but this time in a much more "rock n roll" style. I do absolutely every instrument on this song (written by Tony Macalpine originally) and i recorded everything one by one : the eletronic drum on a rythm machine, then the bass line, then rythm guitar, then lead guitar.

It's a very very technical, speedy, and difficult song, which i chose to record to prove something to myself at that time

I play guitar since 10 years. (i started when i was 16 )

I above all love sweep picking and fast picking, as you can hear
I've been working these two techniques very hard

 

Not a huge fan of death metal, altho i used to listen to sepultura (b4 max left), but it sounds pretty cool tho. Maelstrom? That sounds familiar, u released any cds or done a tour?

For a totally non musical teccy review...

I like the "twiddly bit" with the guitar in the middle but the singer needs some cough sweets so I can understand him

Im impressed

Edit - Actually after listening again I do rather like the middle bit (instrumental bit where it speeds up) better than the rest. Would be very good fast driving music

Oh yeah, already, death / black metal way of singing is not easy to understand at all, and keep in mind that moreover we are french singing in english, so that makes things worse !!!

If you want to hear really technical stuff, i advise you to download the third MP3 i posted, the one where i did every instrument on it ("the raven"). It's really technical and awesome to play, i love this !!!
If you like speedy sounds on guitars, you'll love this one

i play in a rock band , has your drummer got two bass drums or a double pedal , either way he sounds good !!

im not used to played hard metal , we play rock/classic rock but like it all the same
