Do you guys think there would be a market for one if i was to develop one for home use suitable for CDS tubing, stainless and possibly exhausts

I guesstimate price would be around £300-400, just reasearching ATM.

 

A mandrel is an articulated rod inserted inside the tubing being bent, it very basically supports the walls walls of the tube and stops them from collapsing or deforming. You can get a lot tigher radius bends with a mandrel bender.

If using a compression bender, which doesn't use a mandrel you'll get kinks, stretches and deformations in the walls of the tubes.


I would possibly be interested in one...depending on what type of be bending machine it is?

I looked into making that but I couldn't find anywhere in the UK to get the dies from.

 

I was planning on machining them.
