Sorry mate I have no idea. I labelled everything up when I changed the engine on my Pulsar. Saying that though when I came to plugging everything in I noticed that all the connectors were different and would only fit in 1 hole

Good luck though

sure, if you want a boot full of petrol when it leaks

plus extending all the hoses etc? better just getting a bracket really

That will teach you not to label everything when you take it apart

No.3 is for the coil, can't recall which ones + or - though

theirs one on the gearbox, goes to somewhere i cant remember
one on the rear engine lift eye, bolts or screws to inner wing, i got it on the rocker cover to header tank bolt, works fine so far, other earth is for the starter, thats it afaik.

pump mounts under the car on a bracket that the pump sits in the middle of, 2 or 3 bolts holding the pump onto it im sure? and it bolts to the spare wheel well. not sure what way it goes round, but i know a hose comes out it and goes back on itself to the right fi ure looking at it from behind, probable the inlet for the pump!

ok

some repeated;

1 black redtrace +ve pump, thick brown earth
2 Does the black red wire not go to starter?? cranking live?
3 TBH the one in your hand doesnt look like the coil -ve???? I looks more like a sensor wire, Oil pressur on back of block maybe? But I'm pretty sure the one with 2 blue wires, which in someway will be linked to that little box thing which is a suppressor.... That red bullet connector thing, has the wire comoing out that been cut? That could be the coil -ve?? and has been repaired at some stage.... You cant get enm the wrong way round, the coil terminals are different sizes
4... even though the brown and red wire looks factory, I dont recall ANY ford loom wires which are bonded together like that except speaker wire?? I would trace thenm backwards, bet they are for some spots which were added to loom at some stage, in fact, get a test light put main ban on see if goes live...
5. Defo unused
6 will be for your wiper motor and heater blower, you wil need the original plugs, get your old loom out for these, the wire colours should be exactly the same, and branch off the loom in the same place, so make sure you dont cut your old loom too short..... and YES one if not 2 will be earths which screw to the wiper bracket on the bulkhead...

When you say you have no power what do you mean exactly??

And your original earth straps will be in the same place as the XR items...

If you cet some more varied pics, mnay be able to help a little better mate..

Pic 5 could be for the horn, does that work? also could be part of alarm wiring for when the bonnet is opened. The earth from the gearbox can just be bolted anywhere on inner wing, like i did

The frayed cables, are probably the fused lives for the fuse box mate, they are designed to burn out if there is a problem, rather than blow loadsa fuses and or ignite...

The black red wire im prety sure is starter in some way...,

What is the little symbol on fuse box cover, for the fuse and relays which are playing up?

the frayed cable when compared with old loom really didnt look healthy so they was fixed and replaced,

the black and red wire id agree with u, reckon i need a new connector on it...?

it is definatly fuse 17, supose to be 10amp had a 15 in there that blew.
the symbol has a light symbol with wat looks like a wiper on there
