Been looking for ages, finally found myself a decent series 2....
wanted to spend about £2000, but had to spend a bit more in the end.
got an '89G in white, it's totally standard apart from some nasty white dials (which will be replaced!!), it's in really nice straight condition.... got loads of history and old MOT's.... plus just had a new gearbox and clutch....
put it straight away in the garage as i'm gonna get some bit done on it before it comes out, want to get complete new suspension and s/s exhaust (as it's all the original stuff and a bit knackered), and probably a few engine mods but dont want to go to mad. Also got a set of the 17" ford dished 7 spokes (with the soft spokes) ready to go on it....
want to try and find a '90 spec front bumper and spoiler too....
will put some pics up when it's all done, might be a couple of months though as i've skinted myself to buy it as i've not sold my old car yet!!
if anyone's got any pics of a white '90 spec with those wheels on would be good to see!! thanks.

trouble is that they are really rubbish dials so when you've got the lights on you can see all the movements behind them plus i dont think they have been put on in exactly the right place!! maybe i'll get a new set of clocks and try and find somewhere that can put some white dials on properly!! - any ideas????

Anyway, it's only really a problem if you have a few people in the car, I rarely have anyone else with me so it's never a problem, no problems on full lock etc either only a bit of ware on the plastic arch liners
