I have been offered the Data Post RS Turbo that Rodger Sport used to own,is this a proper thing as the owner who has it now got the car through the courts when the baliffs went in,there is no ID on the car what ever and has never been registered
Just as a matter of intererest I believe the Data Post RST was just built up from the 16i shells they ran the previous year so an original one should have an rs1600i shell id.
No Scot owns the promotional datapost car, the race car was owned by Dick dare, it now belongs to a chap called simon.
The cars were S1's they were bare shells given to Richard Longman direct from factory, he was still racing the RS16I's whilst the S1 race cars was being built.

You could be right matt, i was trying to remeber a conversation i had with Richard longman. But i was sure that was what he said, as he raced in the 1985 Donnigton 500 in the rs16i and was interviewed and said that the turbo car wasnt quite finished, but would be at the Istel TT at silverstone for the next race.
if it has had anything to do with rodger its bound to be hooky thats why he fled to thai land the white 4x4 s1 he had i helped paint it many years ago now
