Do people cut the rear out of the xr4x4s to make the cossie shape 3 doors or do they a 1.6 etc shell already in the cossie shape ?

I saw one on either eBay or autotrader today that was an XR4i with a great job done on the back window. He'd had it cut. Chip on here used a 1.6gl shell.

if you chop the piler out of a XR4i, they rot there in time, use a 1.6l if you must!

Quote[ You need a 1.6l doner car for the glass and the bit's to fill the area from where the pillar is cut out and to change the shape of the window appature at the rear . It look's good when it's done right , but it's prone to cracking if you use too much filler to skim over the joints where the welds are . ]
