Early S2, D or E reg?

I think the white one is for an electric dipstick level. The S2 never came with these, but early spec ones had them on the loom.

I have the same wire hanging loose on my H reg. Trouble is, I've looked for the temp sensor and theres nothing there.

The black one as stated is the coolant sensor, and the white one as also stated looks like a speed sensor plug, HOWEVER, MFI RST's dont use a speed sensor, do you have a fuel computer on board? I cant see it being this however as the fuel computer is not part of the main loom.

Tony Turbo: S2's have never come with electronic dipsticks shame they cut a lot of nice features out from the Series 1

No I don't have a fuel computer, and does that mean the plug is just a spare if I don't have a speed sensor. I will check the temp sender but I'm sure i've connected that up

I have just been out and checked (bloody freezing)

1 plug has a brown/green and a brown

1 plug has a black/yellow a brown/white and a brown

1 plug has a brown/red a blue/yellow and a brown/yellow

I have identified the two wire plug a temp wire (via haynes manual)but can't see where it plugs and as for the other two I've no idea

S2's never had the wiring in the looms either............

Other wise there would be a massive spare plug under the dash for the Auxiliary warning control module..............

im still researching the other plug now, very wierd colours

Thought it may be the ABS but as youve already said its the yellow one.

I'll keep looking, for the mean time though i dont think they are anything important, that additional coolant one doesnt appear on all the cars for some reason??? Not too sure why, don't worry about it though its a secondary one you still have the primary one.

The important plugs to have connected are the coolant temp, hydro electric pressure actuator, throttle switch, air charge temp, air flap position sensor, and the amal valve (if ur running one), all the rest arent crucial.

Sorry... we have moved on from that now

Safechav - I would show you on mine, but can't for two reasons;

A) My car isn't at my house

and

2) I don't have them on my loom anymore lol

I wouldn't shoot you really, I have been told to stop by Performance Ford
