Default Quick question about IE Explorer and Broadband....

Does IE check for Email all the time or do you require it to check every minute (its how it is now).

I was under the impression that as its always connected when an email came in it would show you straight away, but as it is mine checks every minute (minium setting in IE options).

Guess ive just misunderstood it then???

Internet Explorer doesn't check your E-mail, Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook does

I'd also suggest not setting Outlook Express to check every 60 seconds, as it can cause problems with some mailservers......some mailservers don't like a new POP3-request coming in before they've finished dealing with the previous one (this happens if the mailbox has quite a lot of emails in it). I'd say 3 minutes as a sensible minimum...
