my shitheap is reliable tho

train driving up here in huddersfield, not just yet - i'm more than happy at the new depot as a guard and taking home more than i did in manchester for even less work

 

oh dear god no why would anyone want to do that

 

Change the front bumper, bonnet and bin the whale tail and that would be a lovely motor for someone

Gearbox was just the cradle that had failed, but threw a new box in for the sake of it, which is now sounding like a straight cut when powering up in 1st

I agree with Gracie on that Escort, it's not a lost cause. Bodywork looks clean and good etc, it's just that in its current guise, it's absolutely awful!

You need all that overtime to pay for the taxi good job you can get it.

What sort of MPG do you get with the closed loop ?

getting about 24 to 28mpg round town, and then on a run, can see around 30 to 35 depending on how i drive

averaged 26mpg on the nurgurgring trip in september, and that included some rather naughty driving


and 3 day weeks rock

and overtime on new years day too - tripple time at sunday rate - thats paying for the fuel for germany in april

 

I get about 21mpg around town and about 27-28mpg on a run.

2030 spare New Years Day probabley get nights off that

Night time is for sleeping not playing trains.

i saw a saff go past me today on the round about, 13 inch white something alloys, maybe 14's, looked hand painted red with whell stickers all over it, home made exhaust pipes each side and a ironing board on the back.
was on par with the shed on ebay. no shit!
