I like the build, im considering an old skool ICE build for my 1.3L Mk5! LOL!! Something along the lines of portable tv (colour hopefully) and a mega drive or a master system... Still havent decided....

It's the C pillar: look how wide it is !! 
Never noticed it befor to be honest, but now someone's mentioned it. Perhaps it as an old onion that they've made into a hatch, so had to extend the C pillar to fit it ?
Edited to add onion pic:
Hee's the urban racing demon Onion. If you check the back end: where the window curves into the C pillar is where it would need extending to. So it could well be an Onion converted.
