Default Car stutters

Mate has a 2.0 focus and it just feels sluggish, Going to look at it tomorrow and i just wondered if anyone can suggest what i should check for?

I'll check the induction pipe feed is clear, could it be something to do with the HT leads?

Any ideas

Well its not standard, Its got cams, headwork etc so it revs even better now.

Think its due a service in Feb. Its a well looked after car, but I have a feeling he might of been ragging it from cold

Mate of mine has a 2ltr on 45's with cams and light headwork and it goes very well

From the little I know about Zetecs it could be sticky valves especially if hes been kicking it from cold.

He brought the car off me which had the work done and i told him not to rag it from cold.

What would be the best way of curing sticky valves?
