Correct that, I gave it a .torrent ext and it worked

 

Should do, I just tested it from work.

Anyone else tried it ?

 

I had to save it with a .torrent ext

 

You have to right click save target as and then change the extension from .avi to .torrent

Working for me - will keep the torrent up after it's finished for people to keep downloading.

Why do I keep getting a text document???

 

Interview loaded okay, but I also get just text. Tried saving as instructed, but makes no difference to me - I'm on Windows XP ?

Make sure you have BitTorrent installed http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/

Download the http://www.leetfighter.com/~jamz/200....1.avi.torrent it will probably remname itself 2004.Gumball.eXtreme.Part.1.avi.avi so you have to rename it back to 2004.Gumball.eXtreme.Part.1.avi.torrent.

However in XP you are possible not seeing extensions and renaming the first .avi, open explorer, then tools - folder options and untick "Hide extension for known file types" under the view tab. The file should now be named 2004.Gumball.eXtreme.Part.1.avi.avi so you can now rename the last .avi

just downloaded it using bittornado (bit torent gui) took about an hour, got decent transfer tbh. Well done Jamz, above and beyond the call of duty mate, would be great if you can do them all?

Only one seeder at the mo tho, so please keep it going for a couple more hours.. I'll keep it open for atleast a couple of days...

Oh, and try 'Torrent Spy' and 'Bit Tornado' as torrent tools..

Just download and install Spy.. Then when you right click on a ".TORRENT" file, you get a box showing how many seeders and peers there are, and can also launch it directly. Tornado allows you to see a full list of IP's and vary the up/download speeds... (IMO better than bit torrent)

As sharereactor was shut down.

After playing around with Bit Torrent for a couple of days now I still think overall the edonkey network is better as content/availabitlity is better IMO than speed!!
