Anyone know whether or not Top Gear featured the Sapphire Cosworth back in the day?

If so anyone know where I can get it or help me out with a copy?

intresting request, i would love to see the road tests for the cosworths, i do remember the top gear escos test they did and they loved it!

 

i tihnk i have the top gear video of the RS500, and i might have the escort cosworth aswell, havent got the others though

I do know that on episode 2 of series 1 of the revamped Top Gear (2002) they celebrated the launch of the RS Focus by driving pretty much every model of RS ever on the track.

Sadly I haven't seen it though and am having trouble downloading it.

 

I had a great vid recording of Quentin Wilson doing a piece on used Sierra Cosworths (mainly Sapphs) It dates back sometime....if it hasnt been recorded over I'll see if it can be posted up!

If I recall correctly the opening scene was QW in a graphite 2wd at a banked circuit (?). Camera switches to speedo as he accelerates between 110mph and 120/130mph

I have seen and got The Story of the Sierra Cosworth. It's nothing to do with Top Gear. It's a documentary the style of which you used to fall asleep to back at school. It's obviously very old and shows it's age, interesting only to the enthusiasts. It primarily concentrates on the Sierra rather than Saff, though at the end there is a very odd kinda long advert for the Saff.
