Last time I looked on Autotrader the good examples were going for mega money!

 

The one on Autotrader is 11K but is a LHD OMEGA VERSION .

Genuine LOTUS Carltons dont go for Ł8K

Thought about buying one last year,they are a very complicated animal with lots to go wrong, and they are known to eat a headgasket now and again.

The interior is a bit manky though, but it's one of the all time greats.

Seen this car 1st hand, true beauty and not a bad bloke selling it either

 

nice motors, rapid as fuck , 377BHP as standard but frightenly expensive parts, and most parts are not made anymore apparently they are VERY fragile if tuned though but still stonking motors

 

there was only 1140 built-original build of them should have been 1440 but vauxhall stopped building any more-dont knoy why.
I believe just under 600 made it to uk.

 

I believe running one is nearly impossible due to the rarity of parts? Also heard they suffer a nast headgasket issue between two of the cylinders.

 

They are proper rare and the parts are even harder to track down. Tuffest Vauxhall ever made, a proper flying bus!! lol

if its gunmetal grey its almost deffo a replica (probably half the things that look like LCs in the UK are reps!), as they were all dark green, british racing green, sorta, dark olivey sorta thing.
