Hi peeps on the rs turbo, inlet manifold on the right hand side were the servo pipe goes what is the little green sensor underneath for i had one on my last engine but im putting a new zvh engine in but on the new manifold there is no were for the sensor to go do i need it or not

do i need it then mate or will it run ok without

 

my first s2 rst didn't run one. Ran fine. S1's don't have one and used a similar looking inlet if not the same. What style inlet you using.

 

it must be the s1 inlet then cause thers no where to put the sensor ill just have to cable tie it out way

 

The knock sensor was only used on later ERST's after 88 I think as mine is 89 and has it but my mates old F plate didn't have it
