Default what spec to obtain 350-400bhp

i have a sapp 4*4, with green, map, chip, kn, 3' exhaust line and t34 with .63 housing, and in few days a rs500 cooler
i suppose that i have between 300-330 bhp

i would like to know what mods i need to do to obtain 350-400 bhp with low budget

Based on that spec.

A remap should see you over 350

if your on a low budget then don't stress your engine to much, or it may well stress your budget!

low comp pistons, WRC gasket, cams, greys/ light blues, little bit of head work + more boost should see 400bhp

as chip says a propa mapping session should see your car make good power ,might need to up to blues or greys to make the most of your spec if having a proper map done

You have your block long studded but use a standard headgasket?

Yes, because i had planned to rebuild my engine next year, so, i didn't want to deposit the head

Somebody told me that is not a problem if the headgasket is in good condition

depends where in that 350-400bhp range you are aiming.

For 350, you dont even need different injectors.

you know, we want always more power

so, the best for me would be between 350-400, so a middle 370 will be nice

sounds like a VERY conservative estimate on power?

is that at the wheels or something?

im not very good with cars lol but i think u need a swirl pot i dunno about anything else.......(reason i say this is cos i read in a magazine about a sapp 4x4 with 400bhp and i remember that bit lol!)

i also remember the person had an RS500 intercooler just like your getting and 0.63 exhaust housing, on i think a 2wd manifold.
wow ive impressed myself on what i remembered there is a bit more but i dont think it would be relevant to put down.

i was probably no help but still

Getting up into the 500bhp ballpark mate.

Cant see why else you would need 1000cc injectors, and the T4 (depending on which variant it is) is good for 500bhp+ too.

Its all about airflow.

To make 500bhp the engine needs to consume a lot of air, a smaller turbo wont flow enough air into the engine to allow it to do this.

If you were here, and naked, i could explain it a lot better TBH, why not pop round?

ok, i think that i know what i want for the future

i will put some grey, so with my big t34, it will be fine.

Now, i need some advice about the engine:

- i will put a breathing system an a swirl pot
- i will rebuild my engine with ported head

but,
-
what headgasket i need to buy a group A or a multi layer ????
what piston i need to buy low comp or standard ????

i had read that i can keep my standard cam

i think that i will put closed loop and at the end make a live mapping

SO, do you think that i forget something

Thanks for your help

a picture of my actual motor

Yes its a very good spec that doesn't need the engine pulling apart and it drives nice too, its about 370-380bhp the boost peaks about 33psi and holds 28

I always thought a T34 was an escort T35 with a .48 exhaust housing on and the T35 had the .63
