cosworth rear diff are no good i can only wheel spin or brodside 1 side to my left is ther a clutch in the diff as it seems that 1 wheel doesnt do as much as the other .was told that the quaife is a gear operated so no plates to break or wear is this true

 

you will be using a tired 19 year old diff then with the VC in dire need of pumping up...

 

Anyone got any details of that, ive never actually had a cossie diff apart and im sure lots of others havent, so it would be an interesting thing for someone to do a detailed writeup on how to do

the viscous unit in the diffs are usually tired on old high mileage units so making them have very little lsd action, they need stripped and rebuilt by a specialist.

 

better off with a quaife if its gona come out
