i think Christian still uses the normal manifold mate and his car is proof that you dont need a custom one

When would you need one by, as although it is said unless over 300bhp,
why bother but back to back the engine would breathe better,
as maybe making that sort of stuff soon, under bonnet accessories
and one off, fabrications, should know by jan 06.

I got mine and the complete exhaust system from James Bentleys red S2 (SOY)

The manifold is from Fiesta Frenzy. No idea how much it is though

Primary Designs are worth a call,

They did mention to me they were going to make one, and if its half as good as the Focus RS one it'll be the bollox

An Escort RST manifold is good for 350hp, after that the engine 'chokes' somewhat. If you don't want/need/have to spend the money then don't as you'll need a custom exhaust too so you are talking around £900 all in. Personally unless you are going all out (aiming over 350) the money is better spent on the main components i.e. head etc.

However, if I were to have one, I 'would' buy one from Ian Howell (Area 6) and not from Primary Designs (as Nick from PF has one) as we noticed something with it that may become an issue which A6's R&D cured years ago. Just my opinion but I'd spend the money where it's been proven to work not because somewhere else is cheaper or in a magazine!

HTH you m8

even area 6 had to start somewhere, its if they look after there customers and sort the design issues that counts imo

who done lewis's one on his car as that had a design issue that was sorted by him

everything is being developed, hell look at the spec of your car and its only making 350bhp, i got that for alot less on a cossie

give companys a chance or atleast use there products before you slate em

i trust broms R&D over most peoples just cause he don hand it back UNTIL hes sorted it, that may take a while but he does it

What?

Would you like to point out to me where I slated anyone? I'm trying to help out a customer not the companies. I've done the research and know what I'm talking about for what the guy concerned is talking about. I don't just recommend someone because they're a good chap or on this forum. The point in question is the product not the person behind it

I'm trying to point out that I'd rather pay for something which is sure to work right than something which may have an issue. R&D is fine as long as you don't have to pay for it as the customer Time and trips to sort things out costs money!

No, I just remember the reaction of mine when I did something similar on our £300 duvet! Oops!
