I'm lucky enough to see it from the other side as my job

But if I didn't have my knowledge I'd find it very interesting.. but confusing too! Crown Court is like a theatre, with everybody playing a part. Or am i just rambling shit

You can't (or couldn't) do it if you had ever been convicted of anything, IIRC that included traffic issues at one stage. And I think cautioned on certain items like Drugs, firearms etc.

Did it in 99. As said above spent the first 6 days doing nothing, just bought loads of magazines and newspapers. They had the world cup Rugby on as well, and Im no Rugby fan

Case was of a Jamacian Kindergarten teacher who'd been stopped with some Cocaine in her bag. Turns out her Boyfriend had got this bag for her "as a present" but it had concealed pockets full of it.

We aquited her on a majority verdict. 11-1 I think As she clearly had no clue she was being stitched up. She was deported anyway as she never officially cleared customs., 1 of the older guys on the Jury kept saying that she must be guilty because she was Black and from Jamacia "where there are drugs everywhere"

We had to keep explaining that Croydon's not known for being drug free. Numpty

I wasn't eligable due to my job (just so yuo know I'm not a con ), and for 10 years after, as I'd probably know people there. But now its all changed.
