try putting a new earth to the blolk, even just a jump lead from lifting eye to neg batt terminal while its playin up to see if the black lead has gone burnt nr the turbo,
always worth a try

Isnt that a problem with the starter motor due to it being so close to the turbo? Starter motor gets too hot to operate, and therefore wont start car when it's hot, is ok when its cold though.

if it's turning over and not firing & running too much advance on the ignition timing it will be difficult to start!

possibility if it IS turning over.
