just got a zvh engine just wanted to no a few things were is the oil cooler on the zetec block if there is one . is the plate that goes between the gear box and the engine the same as the normal cvh is ther any thing else i need to buy to do the conversion and were do i get the bits from cheers in advance .

 

I think you need a plate to allow the fitment of the CVH water pump and also a cambelt tensioner from a 1300CVH Escort, Orion or Fiesta.

 

yeah ive alredy got the plate and the tensioner already on just wondering about oil cooler

 

im leavin mine off, just join the pipes, otherwise cooler will make the filter hit things i think

mite fit engien 2morra so will see then, will need to lengthen pipes if it stays tho,

thers already a oil filter on so i must be ok then

On the CVH it isn't actually an oil cooler it is in fact an oil warmer and is designed to get the oil up to operating temperature more quickly
