Default I know this has probably been asked before, but mapping...

Following on from JohnnyB's post about megasquirt, this has got me thinking.

I would like to ultimately map my own car.

I think i'll buy a shitter of a car with EFI and attach the megasquirt to that.

Now, as you're all aware, i know little / nothing about mapping.

I want to learn though.

I am going to read Stu's Mapping essay.

Does anyone have any pointers, or should I give up?

don't give up, you have to start somewhere, but from my limited knowledge on it, i would say be prepared for a very steep, long learning curve.

i think a course at college/uni would be beneficial though

good luck
