What power will it handle

 

My guess is a little over 200bhp obvously you could get more but it aint gunna last.

well my mates running 18psi switchible and is pushing just under 200bhp his been alright so far (about 4months)

 

I ran 18psi on my standard turbo with no issues

 

If i got a chip
nice intercooler
-31 actuator
And tuned

Ive already got Full scopion Exhaust sytem
K&N
Full Samco Hoses.
Just new cambelt and tappets well silent now



What you lot recon my Bhp Will be

I know ill get flammed for this but thats basicly the spec my mates running in his van and his seeing just under 200 brake with 18psi. It all depends on the engine mate the mfi cvh aint as bad a engine as most people like to make out you can still see decent power with em.

DavesRsTurbo, get the K&N OFF an std airbox with panel filter ON and cut the front off it to open it up (where the circular hole is)
and if it's the old style scorpion, swap the backbox to mongoose or magnex, as the old tyle scorpion is restrictive (2.5" (std diameter) all the way through to the backbox, then 2" In the backbox (smaller than std diameter). That will be a better basis for more power.

 

18psi is probably max setting for standard turbo but better to run a 2 stage boost control

 

How much increase of power will there be if i removed my KN Cone filter and fittet the filterbox with the original filter and make the hole that you are talking about? What does the Cone filter give then if not HP, torque and how much?
