I know but I always thought (spelling???) that rollcages could take impacts like that and this one just folded like mad.
The co-driver is VERY VERY lucky to be still alive as it's totally crushed onto the seat.

The reason the pariticular section of the roll cage bends so "easily" is the force acting (from one of the concrete bollards hitting the roof) over the small cross-sectional area of the tube (its only a hollow cylinder of metal) - Yes the material is very strong, but theres no way it could withstand the immense force of the car (travelling at god knows how many MPH) hitting the concrete over an area as small as 10cm^2.
