Default S1 Fuel Hose, can someone do me a favour plz ?

Trying to find out the outer diameter, and the length of the fuel supply hose that runs from the fuel tank to the fuel filter.

I am guessing its prob about 6-7 inches, but need someone to tell me if poss.....

Thanks in advance

Michael
PS.....Inner Diameter would be great too if poss, but not essential.

I'd say its at least 8 or 9 feet. The diameter of the fuel pipe is very small, around 5 mm.Regards Micky

8 or 9 feet ?? I didnt even think the whole car was 9 feet long !

Think u got the wrong idea mate, its the short hose that runs from the fuel filter to the fuel tank.

7/8/9 inches would have been my guess too, but was hoping someone could confirm.

Thanks

Michael

thats a shame had it of been the plastic one under the bonnet ive got a BRAND NEW ONE SAT HERE STARING AT ME lol

have to put that bad boy on eBay

right ill see if ive got a spare one, just changed the pump on mine and it had a hose on it, so i think ive still got the old one.

Im certain the internal diameter is 18/19mm, the external should really matter, just makes sure the hose clips fit over, and surely you will have to buy a length of hose anyway so u can cut it down to size?

Are you changing yours or something?

Good man MichaelG,I knew I wasnt that confused!!!! Did you try FORD for the pipe that connects the tank to the pump???? Or you could always take the pump to a place that sell's hydrolic hose and by a foot of hose that fits the pump outlet. These place's normally sell hose suitable for petrol as well as hydrolic hose.Regards Micky

I had the chance to buy a length of proper braided fuel line, with proper ends etc......7 inches long.....didnt know if it was long enough. But the Inner diameter was a lot less than 18mm so its no use anyways

Thanks for all the help guys !!
