it's a xr3 turbo still keeping the carb. the plan is to restore it to it's
original condition which although it look's rough body wise the
floor and chassis is in great condition
no rust or rot at all
not going to make at start until spring as i am commited to other
project's at the moment but what do you think

have to excuse picture's but it is all i have for now

It's like the turbo techics TT conversions you got in Mk2 Fiesta XR2's
I brought one for a 100quid in 2000, and chucked the engine in my escort mk4 and slapped a T3 on for good measure. Didn't run any management or anything, just a regulator for the fuel pressure....Was about 130bhp i think, was a nice car to drive aswell
Ain't got any pictures though, was before my 'Take pictures of everything' Days

Love mk3's! Id love to restore a Mk3 Xr3i or non inj, but its just the value that puts me off as they dont hold like RS. Everyone restores S1's and 16i's, so it would be different to do a Xr3. They take me back to being about 12 or 13 i loved mk3 3is, always said id own one. But then got the RS bug
Stick some authentic cloverleafs on it

i did not have a clue what it was when i first got it
thought tt but as it did
not have any tt signs on it and had ford motorsport stamped on part's
i was not sure what to make of it and it was not until a feature in fast
ford that i realised how it came about

Cant believe nobody has said it yet...
That is NOT a Turbo Technics conversion.
If its got Ford Motorsport all over it its gonna be one of the kits intended for the XR3 turbo rally series from the early 80s!
T3 on it IIRC.
Gotta be worth a few quid, esp as the engine stuff looks proper good nick
The TT stuff has TT on the carb hat amongst other plaes.
