Whats the diff between mk1 wings, and mk1 mex wings?

I beleive they were slightly flaired allowing wider wheels from top of my head when i was into reading Classic Ford

flared and mucho sought after and very expensive If you can find any!!!the sort of old school RS500 splitter really!!!!
