RIP Burnsie, as said on that rally forum, spare a thought for Markko Martin.
He was in the car with RB on the way to Rally GB when he was taken ill.
He's lost two good mates this year.

RIP

I'll wait till its confirmed before the RIP, but i didnt know it was still serious, you dont really hear much about him and as the old saying goes no news is good news and i thought he'd just packed up rallying.
Would be a great shame if its true, besty had a good innings at least, richard burns couldnt be any older than 35, no age.

Edited: RIP Burns. Such a shock, he must have had a relapse as I am sure he was on the mend.
Has appeared on the BBC site in the last 3 hours:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/motorsport/default.stm
I can't believe he has gone, so sudden. Most there are a warning of some sort but looking back through the BBC pages, the last was April showing positive signs after his op.
