Default I will soon be the owner of a rally prepped MkII RS Mexico

I have taken the opportunity to buy my uncles rally prepped MKII RS Mexico.

The spec i have so far is as follows:

R plate 1978 (i think) MKII RS Mexico in diamond white
Engine converted to the same 2.0 Pinto in the MkII RS2000 with some additonal tuning
Safety Devices Roll Cage
Full RS interior with RS competition bucket seats and harnesses
LSD
Batteries relocated to boot
Hella spot lamps, grill mounted i think
Gearbox adapted for quick removal (ie for rallying)
Loads of trick rally stuff on the dash

Obviously i've seen the car before, recently and in use on rally stages many moons ago too. Its pretty mint as far as i can remember, a few rust spots on the bottom of the doors but they cn be easily treated.

The deal i will be getting means it will come with the original diff plus a spare LSD too. 2 sets of wheels and tyres, original RS included. plus spare brake discs and pads.

Price is £2k max so far without negotiation.

Pics to follow once my cousin pulls his finger out lol.
