Default Escort rs turbo ecu

if i buy i ecu with a chip in it already for stage 1 180bhp and i put it in my rs, will i need to have it rolling roaded or will that map on the ecu work with my car and be it up to 180bhp, cheers

its best gettin it setup properly to your engine. i can recommend Power Engineering. Went there yesterday and they were superb!

You will need the car setting up properly and if you haven't already got one a -31 actuator. 180bhp may be a touch optamistic so don't be dissapointed if it doesn't hit that mark

its standard, i have a 31 actuator and a chip but it was rolling roaded at 132bhp, the person i bought it from said it was set 132bhp for relability, whats the easyiest mods for bhp gain. i got a zorst n filter already too

The seller was stalking bollocks. Why the fuck would you chip a car and then restrict the power to the standard level?

Get it to a tuner and have it set up. Even with the standard intercooler on you should be good for 14psi (providing the engine is in good condition). Expect about 165bhp if all goes well maybe a bit more

i had my car setup at Powers as i said earlier.

all i have is magnex/k+n/kent cvh35 and i made 175bhp 191lb/ft @15psi.

yeah its got a vernier pulley too.

budget for a new clutch! mine is slipping like a c**t!
