i have a S2 rs running 170bhp and 15 psi. The problem is i need to replace my tappets every 2 months. Anyone know where i can buy a set up uprated ones? Everything is completly standard on car except mongoose exhaust and stage 1 AVA chip.

 

Are you just replacing the tappets and not the cam aswell, a worm cam will kill new tappets as it is doing in your car

 

As above mate sounds like the cam is fucked.

Standard cam will be fine at this spec

 

Ok thanx will have a look around for a new cam. Any ideas where i could get uprated tappets tho?

 

You wont need then if you buy a cam kit which will have a new cam and tappets, fit them together and you will have no more troubles
