finished at last!
well put the last few bits on and now the cars finished,
its all been worth it, even the six month wait to get the car from japan,
i was getting worried when it was 3 months late, especally when i had allready paid for it in full.

the keen eyed spotters will have noticed i have changed the from motorcraft graphics since the other day as they where slightley to big,
and so did not mach the originalls close enough, also the sponcer graphics along the bottom of the doors have all been changed as the garrett was not right and one side was not in the correct order,
so now nobody should find any more faults with it!

only wanted one,
its just the way things pan out,
the labatts one was a luckey find at the right time,
the eggenburger one was bought at a resonable price needing lots of work and an eye for the finished car, as most people who saw the add culd have bought it, same as i did,
just most peeps would not pay for it in full and then wait six months for it to turn up at the docks,
i took a chance and bought it from some phots, for spares money so knew i could not lose as if it was to bad to restor i could have broken it,
i even replaced one of the texaco stars on the tailgate as it was 1" to close to the side and showed if you looked closeley,
my veiw is if you can do it right then do it!

as to its value who knows!
i think its safe to say its worth a little more than it owes me,
the one for sale in germany is 75000 euros which is about 55k or there abouts,
there special bits of kit and everwhere you look there little trick bits which make ruedys cars stand out,
245k to build new in 1987 is the the figure banded about,
where as the rouse car was 165k to build, but still showed the eggenburrger team how to race on more than one ocassion,
a lot of it was that ruedy did more long distance events and only had to beat the bmw m3 so never needed as much power as rouse who had a hole gagale of sierra behind him trying to get past,

And if you change the rims of the Texaco car with the Labatt's car, the golden versions of those rims. Don't ya think that will look even more meaner ?
Mutch respect for ya m8, one hell of a garage you got there

PS. You going to TOTB of Ford Fair ?

All 3 are stunning mate, you need to open your own musuem.
Is the Bristow thundersaloon car still for sale?
