Oh what to do, what to do, what to do
Dilemma time.
I am in love with series 1 ERSTs.............. the missus hates them.
For the price of a nice, clean series 1 I could get a belting series 2 with lots done.
I dont like white cars but would out up with it for the series 1
Series 1 dashs crack and the brakes are shite............. series 2 looks plain & boring
I just can't decide on what to do. What are the other pro's and caon's of each car that will help me decide???

s2 usually comes with a s2 dash anyways Less.....
IMO s2 dashes look shite in a s1. Keep it original in that way imo.
S1 over the s2 anyday and ive had both. Both were white too...as was my escos. White is the dogs mate open ur eyes

i guy i know came up with an idea hes had rs,s same thing loves s1,s but price and condition is putting him off he said thinking of getting a h plate s2 in white and putting s1 pannels on thiers sumat to coniser pretty trick aswell h plate s1 lol

There aren't many S1's left that's why they stand out more and people notice what have been done to them

S1, easy! I've had no probs at all in the 18 months i've had mine, starts every time, runs sweet (just r/roaded @186bhp).No cracks in the dash! Brakes are easy to uprate if you need better, just make sure you buy a decent 1 and your sorted!!

I had that Escossie years ago mate before the S1. I sold the cossie to buy 1st house, bought S1 but then sold that when i bought second house. I think next year ill be back with an RS. Im fancying a Bubble arched MK1
