when puttin me uptimax in it takes 20mins to fill 20quid and keeps clicking sum pumps stop working after a few clicks and the petrol staion look at me funny when ive only manged to put 2 quid in anything i can do ive tryed every local station and all the same must be the car and ive tryed angleing it every way !!!!!!

is it a normal fault ? or just mine ive tryed it up down side to side every posible way ive even tryed filling it near the hole dams its embarssing when theres a few ppl behind ya

Then I can pretty much guarantee that's ur problem....a few years ago I had an S2 with one of those chavvy filler caps fitted. The problem with them is that they dont allow the system to breath and just cause pressure to build up. I bet when you remove it at the petrol station it makes a loud hiss as you remove the cap? Mine was so bad it was bursting the pipe that goes from the pump to the tank because of this built up pressure Changed it to a standard filler cap and all was sorted
